Our Mission

To reduce the level of illiteracy amongst the previously disadvantaged adult learners in order for them to be competent and qualified in various spheres of human endeavor and poverty alleviation in rural communities.

Our Services

Masithuthuke Learning institution offers services to various sectors such as Government, public and private sector, agriculture, mining, wholesale and retail, logistics sector, SMME, CBO and NPO.

Adult Education and Training (AET)

Learners get the opportunity to develop their career paths beyond the AET programme presented by Masithuthuke Learning Institute; to occupationally based qualifications. Refresher workshops are provided for educators and facilitators and are delivered  in accordance with the train-the-trainer or train-the-mentor  methodology. All examinations are externally assessed by the IEB.

Foundational Learning Competence (FLC)

Masithuthuke Learning Institute offers the minimum competence required in two key areas of Communication and Mathematical Literacy to achieve occupational learning at NQF Levels 2 – 4. The key objective is to remove barriers to learning and assist learners with a smooth progression in occupational pathways and skills development.  Competence is externally assessed by the IEB.

National Senior Certificate (NSC)

SACAI’s candidates that write and pass the NSC examination in Grade 12 are issued with a National Senior Certificate from Umalusi, the Quality Council responsible for the sub-framework General and Further Education and Training of the National Qualification 
Framework (NQF).
